New Classrooms

New Classrooms is a national nonprofit organization that creates transformative innovations for K-12 education. Our founding team includes many leaders and original members of School of One, the award-winning personalized educational program named one of the top 50 inventions of 2009 by TIME. In states outside of NY, our flagship model is called Teach to One: Math.

New Classrooms designs new models for instruction that reimagine the role of educators, the use of time, the configuration of physical space, and the use of data and technology within traditional public, charter, and independent schools.

New Classrooms complements the role of live, teacher-led instruction with other instructional modalities such as independent learning, collaborative learning, and virtual tutoring. In doing so, we redesign the classroom experience to better meet the needs of each and every student.
