As pastor and founder of the New Covenant Church of Cambridge (NCCC) in Waltham, let me share with you a brief history of our church as well as our current goals. In the fall of 1984, my wife, Esther, my three children and I arrived from Midland, Michigan to begin the New Covenant Universal Church—known today as New Covenant Church of Cambridge. The pioneers consisted of seven people including our family. At first, our home was the place of gathering. As the assembly gradually increased with new conversions and affiliations, our living room space became too small to fit everyone and we sought space that would better accommodate the increasing numbers at our meetings. In November of 2005, we reached a great milestone in the history of our church with the purchase of St. Joseph’s at 527 Main Street, Waltham, MA. The move to our new building has been an immense blessing for NCCC. Over the years, through various ministries and meetings at NCCC, such as bible studies, prayer meetings and fellowship meetings, many people have come to know Jesus-Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, have found new hope for their lives through faith in God. -
