New Ephesus Missionary Baptist Church

In 1894, The New Ephesus Missionary Baptist Church was founded and organized by James Lawson and others in Caswell County, North Carolina. Today, 121 years later, we are internally and externally Loving Souls To Christ, Equipping The Saints, And Advancing God's Kingdom.

As to the Affirmation of our Faith, We believe in God the Almighty, maker of Heaven and Earth and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary: suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. He descended into Hell: the third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into Heaven and sitteth on the right hand of God, the Father Almighty. From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. We believe in the Holy Ghost, the Holy Christian Church, Communion of the Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the Resurrection of the body and life everlasting.

Since 2013, We have been grateful to God for blessing us with this new vision and with the assistance and leadership of our elected Man Of God, Pastor E. Lamar Boykin. He stands daily on his favorite scripture from God's Word, Romans 8:28 "For we know that all things work together for the good for those that love God and are called according to his purpose."
