New Hope General Baptist Church

New Hope General Baptist Church is a member of Longcreek General Baptist Association. Pastor Stephen Moore and congregation would like to invite you to join us for Sunday School at 10:00 AM, Sunday worship at 11:00 AM, Sunday evening worship at 6:00 PM, and Wednesday night prayer meeting/bible study at 7:00 PM. New Hope General Baptist Church is located four miles east of Lewisburg, KY, just off Highway 106 on New Hope Church Road.

New Hope General Baptist Church was organized on Septmeber 8, 1896 during a Presbytery meeting near the Hickory Grove Schoolhouse. The new church was received into the Long Creek Association at the 33rd annual session held at New Harmony Church on October 8, 1926. At this time New Hope Church had 58 members; met one day a month; contributed $2.55 to the association; and paid the pastor $39.72 for the year.

At the time of the 103rd session of Long Creek Association in 1995, New Hope Church had 136 members; 2 conversions; average attendance for morning worship was 50; average Sunday School attendance was 50; Vacation Bible School average was 70; and the highest worship service attendance was 125.
