Dr. Jessica Hoffmann grew up and worked on a farm in rural Iowa. She attended and graduated from Clinton Community College before graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Northern Iowa. Dr Jessica graduated Magna Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.
While at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Jessica played with the Palmer Women’s Rugby Club. She also participated in an extracurricular intern program called the Troxell Intern Program, which focuses on the Gonstead system of Chiropractic analysis. Dr. Hoffmann is very dedicated to the Gonstead work, and actively teaches and participates with the Gonstead Methodology Institute. Before moving to Illinois to practice, Dr. Jessica worked as an associate Chiropractor with her mentor Dr. Josh Lawlor in Parkview, IA who runs the Troxell Intern Program.
In her free time, Dr. Jessica enjoys spending time by working with her family on the farm, jogging, and riding her bike.

Dr Chris Schumann was born in Colorado and raised in Omaha, NE. He graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. Dr. Chris graduated as the Valedictorian of his class from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.
At Palmer, Dr. Chris played for the club baseball and golf teams while serving as vice president for both clubs. He also served as a student intern for the Palmer Extremities Club under the direction of Dr. Mitch Mally. Before moving to Illinois, Dr. Chris worked as an associate for Dr. Mally in Davenport, IA. Dr. Chris focuses his care using the Gonstead system of Chiropractic analysis. He has done extensive training through the Gonstead Methodology Institute and the Gonstead Clinical Studies Society.
Along with supporting his beloved Nebraska Cornhuskers, Dr. Chris enjoys a variety of outdoor recreational activities. He likes to attend sporting events, ride his bike, play golf, baseball, and disc golf.

Both Dr. Jessica and Dr. Chris are looking forward to the new opportunity at New Horizons Family Chiropractic. Both are eager to educate the community regarding the wonderful benefits of Chiropractic. Through Chiropractic, both doctors are excited to promote health and happiness through optimizing nerve efficiency.
