New Horizons Medical Institute offers certification programs designed to prepare you to enter the medical field in 6 weeks to 24 months. We are accredited by: Council on Occupational Education We are approved by: Georgia Nonpublic Post Secondary Education Commission National Health Career Association Georgia Health Partnership Once a student completes their chosen comprehensive program of study, they are prepared and able to “sit” for the national or state certification exam. Each program’s cost includes tuition, books, kits, scrubs, and exams. Students who are eligible for financial aid can apply it to the Patient Care Technician, Ultrasound Technician, and Dialysis Technician programs. We also offer the following cash based programs; Certified Nursing Assistant, Phlebotomy Technician, Certified Medical Assistant, and Pharmacy Technician. Payment plans are available for these cash-based programs Each program has an externship with local medical facilities to provide practical experience and to encourage confidence.
