New Jersey Police Honor Legion "Finest of the Finest"

The Honor Legion of the Police Departments of the State of New Jersey was incorporated on December 27th, 1966 under the simple premise of recognizing the ‘Finest of the Finest’ for their many acts of heroism and valor. We are federally recognized 501(c)(3) charitable organization whose Executive Board members do not receive a salary or any tangible benefit for their service to the association.

In our 50+ years of existence, more than 6,000 law enforcement officers, representing agencies throughout the state of New Jersey, have been accepted into our association. To learn what it takes to be a member, please follow the “Join Today” tab above!

The Honor Legion is a nonpolitical association that fosters and encourages many fraternal and charitable causes. We organize several annual events including the President’s Ball, Christmas in July, and the President’s Cup Golf Outing. This year, we are making plans to host several additional events including a Dinner Cruise, a Classic Car Show, and a Holiday Cocktail Gala!

Each of our events, along with the support of our Honored Citizens, are vital to the strength of our organization as they provide us the financial means to continue our mission. Among the many causes that hold a special place in the heart of our organization, are the Tomorrow’s Children Foundation, the Police Unity Tour, and our Widows and Orphans.
