We are an African American Church located in Snellville, GA. We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist as well as the National Baptist Convention. We are the first African American (Black) Church to own property in the original city limits of Snellville. We are the organizers of the ML King Day parade and march in Downtown Snellville started in 2010.
We are 5% multicultural/multiracial and everyone of all races and cultures is always welcomed to come worship with us and even encouraged to become a member of our congregation. In every month that has 5 Sundays, we have a special dress-down worship service on that 5th Sunday where we like to invite family and friends who are new to our church or who do not have a church home. It is dress-down, dress-casual, so definitely come as you are.

Dress code: Business to Business casual to casual.

What to Expect During Worship:
We offer two main worship experiences. Our desire is that in all of our worship experiences, that you will have an encounter with God through the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ. Both services offer a traditional hymn, a bible reading done responsively, prayer high spirited music sung by one of our choirs, a soul inspiring sermon followed by an invitation to accept Christ as you Savior (for those who have not) or to join and become a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church.
We do offer a small nursery area for children age 6 months to 4 (we welcome parents and children of all ages to remain in the sanctuary and worship together if you so desire)

We offer Children's Church for children age 5 to 11 every Sunday except the 2nd Sunday of each month (Children's Choir sings in main Sanctuary on 2nd Sundays)
Finally, we are in an older, smaller church building and we recognize the need to acquire newer more up to date facilities and we are currently working on this need.
