Lesley grew up in a small rural area in Eastern Illinois. She was brought up with a sense of community, where honesty and hard work, were held in high regard. Change has been the constant for Lesley. After marriage she had the opportunity to live in 5 states. These journeys have taken her to cities such as suburban Washington D.C. and St. Paul, Minnesota and to the smaller towns of Merrimack, New Hampshire and Rochelle, Virginia. Living in these very different parts of the country have given her a cosmopolitan view of life. These are her roots, and from them, her joy of meeting and helping people began.

For 16 years Lesley was a teacher who enjoyed watching children develop and educating them for life. During this time, she learned that listening to her students was a key skill to successfully assist in them in any situation.

In her free time, Lesley enjoys spending time with her husband, Stephan, her two daughters, who have followed in the teaching tradition; and a son, who is in college in South Carolina. She also loves being a “Mimi” to her handsome grandson. Her rescue dog provides hours of constant joy and aggravation. :0)

All of these experiences have helped Lesley develop a broad understanding of how to help guide those going through a real estate transaction. Her approach is relationship driven and she is committed to satisfying her client’s needs. Creating a two-way relationship ensures her buyers and sellers will have a smooth transaction process. Understanding the importance of education, Lesley continues to broaden her real estate vision and expertise. Among other certifications, she has earned an e-PRO Technology Certification. According to the National Association of Realtors, 90% of home buyers start house shopping on line. This certification and her expertise, allows her to aggressively leverage multiple social media outlets for her clients such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
