New Liberty Innovation School (formerly New Liberty Charter School) is a competency based alternative high school within Salem Public Schools, serving 14-22 year olds who have previously struggled in school.

NLIS is a lot more than an alternative high school we offer opportunities for those who may be looking to restart their quest for a high school diploma or simply looking for small competency based high school with personalized and flexible learning opportunities. Our staff provides the educational opportunities, personal support, flexible scheduling and real-world employment opportunities to help them reach this goal.
