NexGen Youth Arts Conference

The NexGen Youth Arts Conference provides access to information and skills specific to traditional and non-traditional arts-based career pathways and development. Middle, high school, and college students, who are interested in exploring arts-based careers, experience them through the eyes of professional creatives and participate in activities that showcase specific career realities. NexGen presents a unique opportunity for students and parents to meet professionals in the areas of multimedia design, visual arts, performing arts, photography, fashion, film/video, technology and entertainment. This can offer the much-needed motivation for these young people to select or stick to their chosen art-based career. Parents and teachers are able to gain understanding of real-life jobs and opportunities in order for them to more confidently support their artistic children in career selections.
