More about NH Materials Laboratory, Inc

About

In 1979 Professor Fred Hochgraf and his wife Sally founded the New Hampshire Laboratory. They recognized the need for a highly competent materials testing laboratory for the analysis of metals, ceramics and polymers. Our lab humbly began in a Durham, New Hampshire garage where we then moved in to a Dover, New Hampshire site. More than 15 years ago, we moved to our current location in Somersworth, New Hampshire.
In January 2008, a long time veteran, Tim Kenney our current CEO/President/Laboratory Director took over the New Hampshire Materials Laboratory. Each and every day he can be found working diligently in the materials arena with our other technicians.
Alongside Tim Kenney, NHML has a team of seasoned staff members with the expertise in the following tests:

• Failure Analysis
• Metallurgy
• Mechanical Engineering
• Metallography
• Microscopy
• Organic
• Inorganic
• Analytical Chemistry

They all help to service the constantly growing list of customers within industrial and insurance industries including but are not limited to the Marine Surveyor sectors and governmental agencies.
