Nicholson Canine Learning Center

NCLC offers dog training for the greater Raleigh area, including Wake Forest, Creedmoor, Franklinton & Louisburg. At this time beginner classes are offered in conjunction with Creedmoor Village Veterinary Clinic. Private lessons are offered for dogs not suited to a class environment, or for those that wish to have 1:1 lessons. I also offer classes in Star Puppy, Canine Good Citizen, Urban Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog.

I have been teaching dog training in the area for over 40 years, and I thoroughly enjoy working with owners and their companions. My approach to training is very simple, all I need is you, your dog, a buckle collar, and leash (toys and or treats on occassion). It's my job to educate and inform you about how canine's think, how they learn, and how you can effectively interact with them in a fun, happy environment. No dog is too young or too old, although puppies enrolled in a group class must have 2 sets of vaccinations before they can participate. I cover everything from housebreaking to basic schooling commands (sit, come, down, stay, walking on a leash, etc.) and I also teach my students skills in canine problem solving.
