After graduating from Kent State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Family Studies (PAN African Studies minor), Nicole worked as the director of the Akron YMCA child care site for seven years.

Nicole enjoyed her role caring for children in the Akron community so much, that she decided to follow her dream of opening her own child care center in the city she has called home nearly all her life.

Nicole's Nest opened its doors in 2014 with the mission to provide a safe, healthy, educational, nurturing and supportive environment for children and parents.

As a mother of two, Nicole understands what children and parents need from a great child care center.
