NinaBees: Nature Explorers and Early Learning Center

Our goal is to partner with you and your child in the learning process. We hope to exceed your expectations as we provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where your child will thrive. We provide opportunities for your child to learn through active play both indoors and outdoors. They will be an active participant in the learning process and teachers will facilitate growth in all areas of development such as social, emotional, physical, intellectual and language. ninaBees is a place to learn about self, family, the community and the world around us.

Our Philosophy is that we believe children learn through active hands on involvement with materials and activities. During active play, a child’s mind, body and emotions develop and true learning takes place. We encourage children to be independent in basic care routines because these routines can provide as much opportunity for meaningful learning to occur as experiences planned in the interest areas of the classroom.

Children learn to get along with others through positive, caring, cooperative interactions with other children and adults. We encourage children to make choices, communicate thoughts and feelings in a positive way, and accept responsibility for actions and to ensure the children learns social skills that will last a lifetime.

Sophie and Geri, the directors of ninaBees, have over 30 years of combined experience working with preschool age children. They both directed and taught at the Children’s College which was located at the Community College of Denver as well as mentored college students while they were pursing their education in early childhood.
