Freemasonry (often simplified to as Masonry) is the world's oldest and largest fraternity. Indiana Freemasonry is the second largest group of Masons in the country. Masonry strives to make good men better.
Masonry in Noblesville dates back to 1828 when the first Lodge in Noblesville was chartered with William Conner serving as the Senior Warden. The charter of that lodge was forfeited in 1835. On May 28, 1847 Hamilton Lodge #57 was charted with Jesse Lutz serving as Worshipful Master, with the name changing to Noblesville Lodge #57 on May 26, 1853.
