North Bay Village is a city located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 6,733. As of 2010, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau was 7,137.North Bay Village is located at.According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.837sqmi. 0.3322sqmi of it is land and 0.5048sqmi of it is water. The only dry land was Broadcast Key, a 5acre island from which pioneer radio station WIOD began broadcasting in 1926. Today, television station WSVN-TV maintains its headquarters at this same site, now joined with Treasure Island.
