North Carolina Master Chorale Rehearsal

The Chorale has approximately 170 volunteer singers. The ensemble rehearses Tuesday evenings from 7:30-9:45 PM at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Raleigh. Chorale members perform in approximately three-six programs per season, depending upon programming. As the Resident Chorus of the North Carolina Symphony, the Chorale’s schedule often includes opportunities to perform with the NC Symphony.
Chorale auditions are held in late August and, generally, in early January.
North Carolina Master Chorale Music Director Alfred E. Sturgis directs the rehearsals.
