North Iredell High School Choral Department

The North Iredell Choral Department is very active in our community. We have six separate vocal ensembles who often perform together as the Northside Singers. Chorus I Fall, Chorus I Spring, Women's Ensemble, Madrigal Singers and Concert Choir are our five curricular ensembles.

There are many different types of performances that the NIHS Choral Department presents to the community throughout the seasons. All our ensembles perform at our annual Winter and Spring Concerts.

Other successful performances include hosting and performing at the annual NIHS TALENT show, choral showcase concerts in the fall and spring, renaissance festival performances, NBA national anthems, the madrigal dinner, and ChoralFest. The Concert Choir tours annually and all our ensembles participate in many state, regional and national competitions and festivals. The Concert choir often participates in festivals, competitions, and sing for community and professional events. The NIHS Choral Department is a fun and welcoming place for any student who loves to sing!
