The North Little Rock Community Farm is a unique blend of school farm and community garden founded and managed by the EAST Initiative students of the North Little Rock High School's Freshman Campus. Our mission is to create a welcoming hands on learning and sharing environment for students and community members, while providing access to fresh fruits, vegetables, and eggs throughout the city of North Little Rock. To achieve his, we are working with the school district, the city, and local nonprofits to develop a weekly produce distribution program for the school districts 454 homeless students, while at the same time supporting a mobile farmer's market providing organic food sources in Pulaski County food deserts.
