North Shore Triathlon by Precision Multisport

Registration is now open for the 2016 North Shore Triathlon sponsored by Precision Multisport!
This year we're happy to announce that we've added an option for a Sprint distance relay and a SuperSprint distance.

The SuperSprint would be a great option for youth over the age of 9, families, or beginners who'd like to try out fun sport of Triathlon! SuperSprint distances are: 250 meter swim, 10k bike and 2.5k run.

For those of you looking for a bigger challenge, do them both!

SWIM
The swim will be in the beautiful Lake Michigan. Wetsuits will be allowed so long as the water temperature remains below 78 degrees Fahrenheit. Certified lifeguards will monitor the swim course as per USAT regulations. The swim will be a wave start beginning at 6:45AM and is a point-to-point swim in a straight line along the lakefront.

Bike
The out and back course will leave the transition area in Gillson Park and head north up Sheridan Road along the lakefront. The course doubles back on itself, and all riders will take two loops of the course before heading back to transition. Helmets are required as per ANSI and USAT standards.

Run
The scenic, single-loop run course will leave the transition area and head south along Sheridan Road before doubling back just before Linden Avenue to follow Sheridan Road north up to Central Avenue. Runners will follow Central west to 4th Street, where they will head south before continuing west on Greenleaf Avenue until the turnaround at 11th Street, where the course will double back on itself and take them all the way to the finish line! There will be two aid stations with fluids set up along the 3.1 mile run course.
