Northbrook Farmers Market

This year, the Northbrook Farmers Market Season will run Wednesdays, from June 22, 2016- October 19, 2016, 7 am - 1 pm.

The Northbrook Farmers Market mission is to provide local farmers (defined as within a 150-mile radius), producers, and artisans with an economic outlet, and to serve the Northbrook area by making available for purchase fresh, high-quality produce and other locally produced goods for the benefit of all.

As such, our goal is to educate residents on the importance of buying local, eating healthy, and living green, as well as providing a fun, pleasant community gathering place throughout the summer. The Northbrook Farmers Market accepts SNAP benefits and doubles the value up to $25 per day per family.

In keeping with the market's commitment to serve all segments of the community, at the end of each market day, volunteers with Hunger Resource Network collect fresh food donations that are delivered to the local food pantry.
