The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) required the high school's administration to develop a school improvement plan to address the graduation rate and low student achievement. The plan was required to be submitted to the PDE for approval. Under the Pennsylvania Accountability System, the school must pay for additional tutoring for struggling students.
