Northern Cushions has been created because of a need and desire to accommodate people who are in their recliners and lift chairs for great lengths of time. After continual use the seat/support of the chair will begin to break down before other parts of the furniture. The breakdown causes discomfort, poor posture, and more difficulty in transitioning. Through careful research and input from professionals we believe we have produced quality products that will meet the needs of support, comfort, stability, consistency, resiliency, cost effectiveness and beauty to our customers.

Our extremely high density foam does not “bottom out” even though it is 2 inches thick. The foam will remain supportive and comfortable over many hours of use.

We provide over 60 Health Care, industry-standard, fabric choices. We offer many patterns, textures and colors. These fabrics are very durable and many have a moisture barrier and soil/stain resistant finish.

All cushions and pillows have a slip resistant backing which provides our customers with more confidence while transitioning and less shifting when resting.

Because of our superb dense foam and slip resistant backing, our customers can appreciate extra leverage, added ease and confidence while transferring from sitting to standing and vise versa..

Coordinating the Enhanced Seat Cushion, Mobile Cushion and Lumbar Pillow is a fun, easy process with the end result – luxury.
