Northgate Church began as First Baptist Church Haslet in 1923. Over the years the church experienced growth and some great memories. However, by the late 2000s, the church decided to seek a new direction to serve a fast growing and changing community. In 2009, the church changed its name to Northgate Church. On Easter Sunday of 2009, Northgate Church held its first worship service at O. A. Peterson Elementary and began growing. With the facility lease set to expire at the school, Northgate made the strategic move to a theater in North Fort Worth in November 2010. Since then, Northgate has experienced a new level of excitement and growth. In early 2014, Northgate paid off all debt and moved back into the original facility in the growing area of Haslet. This facility is the original church property at 220 Main Street where Northgate offices. Northgate currently shares its facility with Cowboy Church of Tarrant County. Northgate is excited about the future and what God wants to do through this church!
