Northroad Cane Corso

Northroad Cane Corso's main focus is to the betterment and welfare of both dogs and owners through training and education. With both training and education for owners made readily available, as well as a true commitment to being a pet parent, you can achieve balance in your home and community. Northroad Cane Corso (NRCC) rescues and rehabilitates large breed dogs either by fostering dogs to be euthanized and working with them in both Obedience and a specialty field such as Agility and when ready finding the perfectly matched forever home, or by working directly with pet parents/owners in their own environment to keep them from being re-homed or euthanized. NRCC works with a multitude of behavioral issues. Such as, high energy destructive behavior, anxiety, low confidence, aggression (fear, people, dogs, food, wildlife and livestock), group introductions and walking on leash. As a Cane Corso owner and handler, as well as breeder we are dedicated to the betterment of the breed through only breeding correct females and males in both conformation and temperament. Large breed, high energy dogs require a large commitment to training, exercise and socialization. Without these you get behavioral issues that create the reason why we have the need for shelters, as well as the sad reality of the number of dogs that are euthanized daily.
