Northtown Music

There is a new music store in town!
Northtown Music is now open at
3648 Harlem Road in Cheektowaga.

What is Northtown Music? It is a place to take a lesson, purchase, or rent a musical instrument.

The store has a unique open space for lessons and workshops.

Its owner, Ben Boyar, was a school teacher for over three decades. Ben taught music at Hutchinson Central Technical and Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts High Schools. During his career
Ben initiated the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra
Mentor Program with Buffalo Public Schools.

Boyar has brought workshops to his students including: Wynton Marsalis, Wes Anderson,
Todd Williams, Sam Rivers, Lester Bowie,
Doc Severinsen, Terrence Blanchard
and Dick Clark.

Ben has been teaching students of all ages his
whole career.

Northtown Music gives Ben the chance to offer his special brand of music to the community.
