Northwest Costume

Over three decades ago, Mary Johnson started Northwest Costume as a way to provide halloween costumes to her immediate community. Hundreds of plays, musicals, fundraisers, auctions, dances, and weddings later, and the little costume shop has grown into a Tacoma institution, providing dazzling ensembles to the South Sound, and greater Seattle area.

For many of our customers, a visit to Northwest costume starts with their own event or show. Our full service shop specializes in creating personalized ensembles for your event. Our extensive research library, on-site sewing and cleaning facilities allow us to provide our customers with a quality experience.
