Master Sushi Chef Hiroyuki Terada was born and raised in Kochi, Japan and growing up, spent countless hours with his father fishing, and preparing sushi. He was also cooking fried rice with his mother to feed his family. After reaching his young teenage years, he soon realized that he wanted to continue with the culinary arts and that's when he officially attended culinary school.
Being the perfectionist that he was, he soon learned that his knife was his best friend, and developed a keen sense of knife skills where he was nicknamed, fastest in class with his knife.
