Nozomi Doha

NOZOMI, the renowned award winning contemporary Japanese lifestyle restaurant and celebrity hotspot, located at Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl – Doha, open since 01/10/2015. Created by restauranteur Marios George back in 2005, Nozomi has remained one of the top restaurants on the London culinary and entertainment scene for the past decade.

The esprit underlying Nozomi is one based on subtly fusing an entertainment and dining experience. A highly acclaimed cuisine is served along with a passionate musical offering, relying on a selection of world music choices designed to relax inhibitions, assuring a unique and overwhelming atmosphere; that is Nozomi.

The culinary style is best described as contemporary Japanese cuisine infused with European subtleties. Nozomi’s comprehensive selection of sushi, through to its famous Black Cod and tender Kobe beef, its world class lobster tempura to its vegetarian dishes, offer guests all that they have come to expect of contemporary Japanese cuisine, worldwide. The bespoke dining menu developed for Nozomi Doha, contains Nozomi classics along with seasonally changing new creations.

Nozomi Riyadh opened in September 2014 as the first franchise of Nozomi and has become an instant favourite with locals and expats alike, known as the best restaurant in the city. The restaurant is a stunning exhibit of the finest design and is a testament to the Nozomi brand’s ability to adapt to local culture.

The launch of Nozomi Doha is a much awaited addition to increasingly elevating lifestyle experiences in Qatar. Nozomi’s unique quality and concept has been recognised internationally, boasting celebrity clientele including Usain Bolt, Jay Z, Rihanna, Cara Delevingne, Nicole Scherzinger and The Saturdays to mention but a few.

Award Winning

Nozomi’s heritage is impressive. The restaurant has won eight consecutive AA Rosetta Awards for culinary excellence, three Best Restaurant Awards from the London Club and Bar Awards (2006, 2011, 2013), and was the best runner-up 2013 for the Best London Restaurant and Best Bar at the London Lifestyle Awards.

Nozomi Riyadh was recently also given the prestigious accolade at the 2015 Luxury Lifestyle Awards of best Luxury Restaurant in Saudi Arabia, having created a prestigious reputation within Riyadh’s elites and the high profile society, both local and outside Riyadh.

Nozomi Doha has won several awards since its opening, including Favourite Japanese Restaurant at the Fact Magazine Dining Awards 2016 and Best Newcomer at th Time Out Doha Restaurant Awards 2016, and is currently shortlisted for the BBCGood Food Middle East 2016 Awards and the Food and Travel Magazine 2016 Awards.
Expansion Plans

With Nozomi franchises in Riyadh and Doha, signed contracts in Jeddah and Oman, and plans of expanding to the UAE and Bahrain, the aspiration is to make Nozomi the dominant player in the GCC fine-dining and luxury lifestyle scene.

Beyond GCC expansion, a new European property will also be opening next year in Ibiza.
