Celebrating the Start of 17 Years in Business

We’re starting our 17th year in business! It was on January 4th, 2001 when Allen Kopelman and Dave Burney were inspired to help business owners of South Florida with credit card processing. They wanted to provide a unique kind of concierge service so that businesses would not have to call a toll-free number and speak to someone they did not know. That is when Nationwide Payment Systems was born.

We started selling an all-in-one that included a debit and credit card pin reader with a printer. Nationwide Payment Systems was one of the first companies in South Florida to offer an all-in-one machine back in 2001!

Fast forward 17 years later, Nationwide Payment Systems successfully launched and covered much ground. We’re still providing the service NPS was created to do, and we’ve added many other services over the years. Each time NPS had a new service added, it was because a client needed it and couldn’t find it anywhere else or it was a new and exciting product or service we know clients would enjoy.

With our growing success are also involved in a number of Chambers such as: Greater North Miami Chamber of Commerce, Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, The Global Trade Chamber, The Coconut Creek Chamber of Commerce and the Miami Brickell Chamber of Commerce.

Nationwide Payment Systems also supports many charities: The Police Athletic League of North Miami (PAL), Historical Society of North Miami, Jewish Federation of Broward County, Chai Center Chabad – Coral Springs, Greater Miami Symphonic Band, United Way, Antioch Church – Miami Gardens, Broward Community & Family Health Centers and the Children’s Diagnostic Center of Fort Lauderdale.
