NSC Writing Center

Welcome to the Writing Center! Spun off from the Student Academic Center in Fall 2014 to dedicate more time to writing across the curriculum, the Writing Center provides walk-in consultations with current NSC students trained in writing pedagogy. Get one-to-one support for writing in any class, at any stage in the process. From brainstorming the day you receive an assignment, to making effective choices in expression, to incorporating feedback for revisions, you can work with Writing Specialists on strategies to improve your writing. Our writing specialists consists of interdisciplinary NSC students with a variety of majors: Nursing, History, Biology, Business, English, Environmental Science, Mathematics and Psychology. Wether you are looking for a comfortable space to come and free write or need assistance with a writing project, we are the place for you!!
