NWO Youth Flag Football League

Registration for the NWO Youth Flag Football League will be open May 1, 2017. Information will be sent out to schools and students starting April 1, 2017. Registration is available to all Putnam County students.

NWO Youth Flag Football League will be open to all Putnam County students, ages 5-9 (10 entering 4th grade). The program provides young players a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in non-contact, continuous action while learning lessons in teamwork. We will be offering flag football during the late summer and early fall seasons.

Players will learn skills and lessons that help them succeed both on and off the field. The game is 5-on-5 flag football, which teaches the basic skills of football; running, passing, receiving, and defending, all while maintaining non-contact rules that eliminate blocking and tackling.

The NWO Youth FFL will be partnering with the NFL and all players will receive a reversible NFL Team Jersey, NFL flag belts and flags, and membership to USA Football!

The league fee will be $35, which includes NFL equipment, USA Football Membership, Accident Insurance, minimum of 10 games, and a chance to play in the playoffs. Champions and runners up will receive trophies, and all players receive a Certificate from the NFL for participation.
