More about NY / NJ Mineral, Fossil, Gem & Jewelry Show

Our special exhibitions get better every year as we get bigger every year. In 2018 it will be 'Titanoboa: Monster Snake' from the Smithsonian Institution and a new "panel exhibit" from the American Museum of Natural History (Picturing Science). This 5-day event is the largest show of its kind east of the Mississippi River. Items for sale include dinosaurs, mineral specimens, common and rare gems, common and achingly rare fossils, petrified wood, artisan jewelry, meteorites, sharks teeth, opals, sapphires, silver, gold, beads, science gifts, unique interior decor, and so much, much more. Prices are $1 to $1 million. Returning exhibits include a dimmed room full of "black light" UV minerals, local mineral rarities, and lots and lots of dinosaurs! Hands-on kid activities include metal detection, gem sluicing, a fossil dig, and freebies from local mineral & fossil clubs. Family friendly, free parking, and the modest admission fee is $10 weekdays / $15 weekends for those over 12 years old. Kid tickets are $10 which on weekends includes a free gem, mineral or fossil of their choice. Wednesday - Friday : Noon to 9 pm, Sat & Sunday 10am to 6pm.
