The New York City Rescue Mission is a food pantry, soup kitchen, homeless shelter, and residential recovery program. We were founded in 1872 by Jerry Mcauley. We have recently expanded to provide a private shelter for women, more office space for our growing staff, and more space for our men in the recovery program. We are a New York State 501(c)3.
