About Us:
The founder, Pedro Rosario, worked for NYC's Animal Care and Control for over 15 years. After gaining such invaluable experience, he knew that the next step in his life would be opening up a boarding facility. Thus, with the help of his friends, he opened NYC's Top Dog, Inc.This was the logical and right progression for him to continue serving the animal community and pursue his passion for saving precious lives.

Along with his 15 years of extensive animal welfare experience, Pedro has worked with farm and exotic domestic animals. Furthermore, his business experience includes customer service, overseeing animal care at the NYC shelter, and from 2006-2008 supervising the Manhattan Care Center. This last title required a close relationship withe medical department, in which Pedro was able to foster and maintain very well.

Our Mission:
To continue to helping homeless animals and serving the rescue community.

***We know how important it is for rescue groups to have a safe haven for the dogs and cats they pull from the NYC Animal Care and Control and from the NYC streets. Therefore we welcome alll rescue groups, and take pride in the relationships we build with them.
