First and foremost, allow me to thank you for taking the time to visit and explore my innovative, hand-crafted designs.

The art of woodworking has been a deep passion of mine for almost 20 years ever since my first woodworking class in middle school. The ability to see or envision a particular project, and then draft, design, build and finish is a unique experience every time. Beginning with a simple wall shelf as my very first woodworking project, I have made it a personal mission to learn as much about the craft as I possibly can and to never be afraid of attempting the most difficult and challenging of projects!

Being a full time active duty member of the United States Navy, finding the time to devote to my shop and the hobby can be a unique challenge at times. The desire to one day own my own custom woodworking business has been a dream for too many years to count and Etsy has made this a very easy possibility. But building and creating this business has not been an easy one.

Originally, my woodworking hobby was nothing more than that, a hobby. As I would add various tools to my arsenal with every project that I tackled, the idea of a business became more and more of a reality. I began to shape and focus my abilities with every project I would undertake, mostly building projects for around the house, doing Christmas presents for family and friends, or just helping out friends with construction of a simple bookcase. With every project I completed though, both my confidence and experience increased. Designing and building projects for my children have been some of the most rewarding woodworking experiences. These projects such as the toyboxes you see listed in the shop were built for my son and daughter, and accordingly, have huge significance to me.

Almost every project you see in my shop has been designed and built for family, friends, or even neighbors who stopped by the house and saw me working in the garage and asked if I could build a particular project for them.

The art of handcrafted design is something that seems to be losing its luster in the hustle and bustle of modern technology and large corporate furniture establishments that have mechanized production. Though these companies can produce products very quickly at cheap prices, so much is lost in the finished product. The care and level of detail put into any hand made design is something to take note of and one of the things I pride myself on with every project. Additionally, the lost art of face to face customer interaction is something that I strive for in every transaction. Though this is limited through an internet based Shop, I make every effort to make you the customer feel as if we are interacting in person. I pride myself on making sure that I understand every desire and idea that you have with a particular project; and will make sure that I see through to the finish every measurement, every cut, every design concept to get it right!
