Ocean Beach at Bald Head Island

"Ocean Beach" resides at 21 Silversides Trail directly across the street from the beach on a cul-de-sac. WHAT A VIEW! We are midway down the South Beach, near the Maritime Market, fire station, boutique shops and almost exactly between The Bald Head Island Club and The Shoals Club. Our new home has been redecorated, repainted, and rebranded in southern coastal style.

Our luxurious down bedding is sure to please everyone. There are two master suites. The third bedroom also has a king sized bed and private bath. The "kids room" has two extra-long twin beds that can be arranged to form another king. That bedroom has its own bath as well. All new linens and towels are provided.

Each bedroom has new 32" flat screen TVs with access to Netflix, DVD players, and iHome. The living room TV is also equipped with Netflix, along with XBOX Kinect and games. We have wireless high speed internet service and unlimited long distance phone service.

The view from the upper deck is just spectacular and allows us to see from the Cape Fear River to Frying Pan Shoals. Dolphins are frequent visitors to "our" beach and are easily seen from all 3 porches.

In the garage you will find a 4 passenger and a 6 passenger golf cart. You MUST be a licensed driver to operate the golf carts on Bald Head Island.

The shaded protected area that is the entry to our home, also serves as a place to escape the sun in one of the 2 hammocks. There is a sandy play area under the house for those little ones who have grown tired of our sun drenched beaches and a hot outside shower to get rid of the sand.

Please remember to make reservations with the Bald Head Island Ferry to arrive and depart. Your ferry ticket also provides you with tram service from the ferry to 21 Silversides Trail.

The Maritime Market is quite amazing considering they must bring everything to the Island on a barge. The selections are extremely good and the service is excellent.
