Ocean Breeze Alpacas

Hi all! THANKS for visiting our page. I am Nancy Taylor and with my sister-in-law,
Susan Taylor--we are Ocean Breeze Alpacas. We are part of a family farm, in
continuous operation for 100+ years. We became interested in alpacas 10-15 yrs
ago, but had to put that thought aside for a different time. We continued to work
at our knitting crafts, and our admiration of the wonderful qualities of alpaca fiber
grew. Friends kept encouraging us to consider raising these beautiful animals.
Over the course of time and with alpacas becoming more affordable for us, we
saw that our ideas for an alpaca farm could become a reality. With research,
family considerations , and much sole searching we purchased 7 male alpacas with
the idea of raising a small group for our own fiber use (fiber males). Then, unex-
tedly, we got a business opportunity we could not resist and increased our "herd"
to include 11 females. As they say, the rest is history---we are always evolving and
learning as we go. And now we are starting a FB page, so I guess it's true that an
old girl can learn new "tricks".
