Ocean Star Offshore Drilling Rig Museum and Education Center

The museum is a self-guided facility. Museum guidebooks are available for purchase in the gift shop and an audio tour us available if you want a more in-depth experience. Reservations not required for individuals or family groups. Tours available at reduced rates for groups of 25 or more. The museum rents fully equipped meeting space and areas can be utilized for training! Experience what it is like to stand on the drill floor of an offshore rig, or visit the exhibits on the pipe deck from the first floor of the museum. Oil is used not only in transportation but also used to help build roads, manufacture tires, toys, anti-freeze and brake fluids!
