Octavia's Daughters

As part of the Social Justice Circle of the ELT Program through Kidscorp at Louise A. Spencer Elementary School in Newark, young women of color are taken on their own "paths" toward finer womanhood and the cultivation of self development through a community and sisterhood-conscious model. Our program includes 3 gateways: self discovery, self acceptance & love, and manifestation.

Our young queens are guided along their paths, by program facilitator Jessica Dunston, under the leadership of site director, Sophia Domeville, through workshops led by members of the community, activities, interaction with one another as sisters.
