The mission of the District Attorney's Office is to seek justice by ensuring that victim's rights and the public's safety are our number one priority through the fair, vigorous and efficient enforcement of the criminal laws. In seeking justice, we shall also vigorously safeguard the rights and reputations of the innocent.

Our mission requires the highest degree of integrity and professionalism as we strive to earn and hold the respect of the communities in which we serve. As we work as advocates in the criminal justice system, we shall be ever mindful that we also work in the People's justice system. We shall therefore highly resolve to minimize the impact of crime on victims, witnesses, and their families. We shall help victims overcome the effects of crime, navigate our system of justice, and support successful prosecutions.
