(Official) Mountain Island Charter

Founded in 2010, Mountain Island Charter School offers a robust curriculum while instilling character values and leadership development within a positive, challenging learning environment. MICS educates over 1400 students in grades K-12. Students participate in dozens of athletic teams and a wide variety of extracurricular programs, service learning, and field trips. The high school program features a college/career preparatory curriculum with a robust electives offering, AP, Honors, and dual enrollment courses (CCP), and a 1 to 1 student technology profile.
