Oh Pour L'amour Du Chocolat

Oh Pour L’amour Du Chocolat or Oh For The Love Of Chocolate is located at 4476 Main Street in Snyder, New York right at the intersection of Main Street and Harlem Road. We make artisan chocolate creations utilizing local products and ingredients; We use no chemicals or additives, and lots of love.

Our chocolate makers all have different backgrounds. Some have studied in Paris, others have graduated from local culinary schools, all have perfected their individual techniques with time and patience.

Also serving Ice Cream, sodas, coffee, tea and desserts the shop itself is a mix of Parisian style with a 1920’s soda shop feel. The grace and elegance Pour L’amour is trying to convey is reflected in our custom display cases, shelves and wood work. Even the ice cream counter is a sight to see as it is an antique12 foot table with an Italian marble top.

Stop in for unique items like gold chocolate Buddha’s, milked hugged Oreos with faces, swirls, and other fun designs, caramel pretzels with a twist, and over twenty types of truffles including mimosa, champagne, kahlua, pomegranate, and dark chocolate with sea salt just to name a few. And of course We have all the original favorites like sponge candy, jellies, creams, and chocolate covered popcorn.


Our shop is new to the area but we would never dream of locating it anywhere else but Western New York. We are big believers in contributing to charity events and helping out with local and National causes. We have already donated some product, time, and money to events like the WCR (Woman’s Counsel of Realtors) charity fashion show to benefit the American Cancer Society. We do try to utilize fair trade products when we can and are very conscience of our shops impact on this planet as far as packaging, shipping, boxing and so on.

We opened this shop and acquired our sister shop (Sweet Jenny’s) in the village of Williamsville to be closer to the community and to form those bonds and connections that come with providing a wonderful product, at a good price, and a concern about being a part of every customers family.
