Once the Oil Springs School, the OSCAR is now a cultural heritage center that offers a place for local artisans to create, teach, and participate in many artistic classes. OSCAR also provides an opportunity for the public to view products made exclusively by local artisans. The center also displays artifact collections, has a local history study room, an arts and crafts library, a recycled clothing shop, a woodshop, a theatre, ceramic studio with kilns, and a general workshop. There are artist studio/shop spaces for rent on a very affordable monthly basis.
Additionally, the beautiful mural decorated Medina Garden Cafe is available for booking parties and gatherings with catering options.
