The Okeechobee County Agri-Civic Center is a 150 acre facility with an equestrian arena with a 32,500 square foot floor capable of hosting a variety of equestrian events, rodeos, and livestock shows. The open air arena is covered, vented, and lighted to accommodate all weather day or night events and attractions, seats up 4,000 people, and is equipped with bucking chutes, roping chute, and stock holding pens. For the comfort of the crowd, it is fully lighted and equipped with 15 overhead Rite Hite fans with a 24 foot diameter blade span. It also has two concession stands and full restroom facilities. Adjacent to the arena is a 35,000 square foot horse barn with which is also covered, vented and lighted for 24 hour horse boarding during horse shows and events. The horse barn is currently configured with 132 stalls, although it can be increased to house 150 horses. Temporary stalls can also be set up if needed. Easily accessible from the Horse Barn and Main Arena is a 240 foot by 125 foot practice arena with a clay & sand floor similar in composition to the Main Arena. The facility has hosted equine events including reining, barrel racing, team roping, horse shows and clinics. Other events include professional and youth rodeos; truck pulls, monster truck shows, bike rallies, RV shows, car sales, boat shows and swamp buggy shows; high school graduations, weddings, concerts, trade shows, and circuses.
The Agri-Civic Center is located three miles east of downtown Okeechobee on Highway 70. The event entrance is at 4601 Highway 710, with another entrance at 4200 Highway 70 East.
