Old Gin Lumber Company

Old Gin Lumber Company is a family owned lumber company/logging business located about 10 minutes outside Somerville, TN across from the restaurant Laconia Store and Antiques.

We always have a variety of lumber on the yard. Our most popular are oak, cypress, mixed wood, ash, and occasionally walnut will be available. The prices vary depending on the market so if you are interested in getting some lumber cut for your project needs please call ahead to see what we have in stock and pricing. We also have firewood available for a starting price of $10 per truck/trailer bed full.

The company also does logging. They will come to your land cut the timber down and haul it away how easy is that for you!! They only do select cuts. So if you are interested in getting rid of some timber on your land give either Wayne Dowdy or Jake Dowdy a call today.
