Olin igniteCS

Our mission is to ignite students' interest in computer science empowering them to do exciting projects in a workshop setting, and further fuel that interest by providing the tools, resources, and skills they need to keep going on their own or with their families!

Our team was selected among applicants to be fully funded by Google to support our program. This means we do not charge schools a single penny and we can ensure that every workshop we host is 100% free for students and families.

We began hosting computer science workshops in the spring of 2016, beginning with Pollard Middle School in Needham, MA. Since then we have expanded to 3 schools and hope we will continue to grow.
