Olson Hall at Kent State University

Olson Hall is located in the Quad area and currently houses one of the most popular Residential Colleges on campus, the College of Communication and Information (CCI) Commons. The CCI Commons is open to all students majoring in Communication Studies, Journalism and Mass Communication, Library and Information Science, and Visual Communication Design.

Olson Hall is staffed by a Residence Hall Director (RHD), an Assistant Residence Hall Director (ARHD), and six Resident Assistants (RAs). The staff's main goals are to provide the residents with valuable information, create a positive community through educational programming, maintain a safe and high-quality living environment and serve as a resource whenever a student has a question or concern.
