Driven by the biblical mandate for Christian service, Open Door presents the Good News of the love of God in engaging and practical ways.

When a community member faces a crisis, Open Door’s trained volunteers provide prayer and invaluable guidance and support including connecting them to other local resources. The center may also provide short-term assistance while delivering training designed to help clients become economically stable.

Additionally, Open Door supports the educational needs of the county by offering free tutoring for students in grades k-12 and by leading an annual community drive to collect school supplies for underprivileged local children.

Finally, Open Door strives to promote the unity of Christian churches in Wyandot County when it comes to service by providing an effective, centralized outlet for local humanitarian outreach.
